I got hold of her shoulder and pushed her away. All that clouded my mind was the thought of Vanessa, watching me from a distance and the pain covering her features. I couldn't hurt her. I hated to see her hurt and would kill anyone that brought harm to her.
Kate came forward again and lifted her hand to my chest, bringing it down slowly. "Why do we-"
I got hold of her hand again and pushed her back, "Try one more time, and I will keep to my warning. I will break your hands and feed them to you, not minding how close we were before." I threatened, and my eyes turned red.
I couldn't contain my rage, which was making its way to burst out. She quickly bowed her head and apologized.
