Vanessa's POV:
"What did you make her do?" Charles suddenly questioned, rushing to his brother instead. He hijacked his buttoned shirt collar, not giving him any space to breathe.
"Hard to accept what is going on? She was my mate first, before you even came into the picture, and this seems right"
"You can't make a deal with her using my weakness as an advantage." Charles figured it out himself, saving me the long explanation of what I had to do to save him.
He went on, "I thought you claimed to be a righteous leader, but you are so pathetic."
Chuck grabbed his hand and pulled it away from his now rumpled shirt, "This is fair and square, Charles. I only used your trick on you. You will know now how it feels to be betrayed."
Charles scoffed and stepped back a bit, staring at his broth
