THE WINDS OF CHANGE
The CF faced a long journey. If they flew to Johannesburg, the trip would take two hours at most. But they had a full militia of two hundred men, in addition to four women: the two P. J. Austin look–alikes, the real Priscilla, and Camilla. They needed to transport their personnel, munitions, tanks, and other equipment, not to mention the food, cooking utensils, and other essentials such as medical supplies and a makeshift medical unit overland. The six-hundred-mile trek, with a three-day-span, would be across unreliable roadways and a myriad of climates. They could face other possible attacks by the PG, mishaps with wild animals, and many other problems.
