Prince Sapphire had followed his mother's biddings by leading the large group of angels out of the city and their magnitude increases every single day because three of his siblings are responsible for guiding to them the more angels that were leaving the city.
But that doesn't mean there were no demons on their trail, being that much of a population of different powerful angels in fact did draw attention to them but they couldn't be easily taken out due to their numbers.
