During the end of the week, on a Saturday morning, Aria was fortunate enough to have breakfast with her parents. This was the golden opportunity she had being waiting for and she won’t let it slip through her fingers.
Their weekend chef, Mrs. Smith served their delicious breakfast in the dining room and rang the breakfast bell for everyone to come down from their rooms and head to the dining room to have their breakfast.
Aria was the first to get there, not that she was starving but because she wanted to catch her parents before they throw a slice of bread in their mouths and leave for work.
Ivy came minutes after, and immediately started eating her food while pressing her phone without waiting for the rest of her family. It wasn’t that she was dying to eat, but she just didn’t care about her family as much as they didn’t care about her.
“Mom, good morning.” Mrs. Bennett had finally stepped into the dining room and Aria immediately greeted her.
“My darling, how are you? You look so rough.” Her mom remarked.
“Wait till I tell you everything...” Aria got interrupted
“Ivy darling, where are your manners?…”
“I left them in my room,” Ivy instantly retorted.
“Ivy!” Aria whispered her disappointment.
“You couldn’t wait for the rest of us before digging into your food. You look so skinny. Hasn’t your maid been feeding you? What’s her name again?” Mrs. Bennett continued before taking a seat.
“Good morning.” Ivy greeted her mom and just continued on her phone.
“Good Lord, where is your father? Well, I don’t have all day.” Their mom began eating her food and Aria joined her.
“Mom, there’s something I must speak to you about.” Aria started.
“Table manners!” Ivy said.
“She’s right dear.” Mrs. Bennett supported.
“Mom, no, I must tell you right now because it’s urgent and it has being urgent for the past weeks but you and dad never ever spend any single time with us, its frustrating. Mom I need you, don’t you want to know how your daughters are fairing? Do you love us?” Aria cried out.
“Oh my gosh, rollercoaster of emotions. What is it?” Her mother finally asked.
“I have a stalker mom,” she started.
“Ouuu lucky you.” Her mother remarked and took a slice of bread.
“Lucky me? It’s Adrian.” Aria informed.
“Ugh, what kind of inconsiderate parents would name their child Adrian, is he an imbecile?” Mrs. Bennett was disgusted as she sipped her tea.
“Mom, Adrian as in Adrain Blackwood, the heir to the Blackwood family.”
“Holy shit.” Ivy exclaimed.
Mrs. Bennett froze for a minute or two, then she dropped the slice of bread in her hand and took her phone to dial her husband’s number.
“I’m calling your father.” She said.
“Well thank you.” Aria appreciated and took a bite from her bread.
“Honey, I don’t know whatever the hell you’re doing but you need to come downstairs to the dining room and have breakfast. We need to have a discussion, can you believe the Blackwood has started messing with us again. You know what? Just come the hell here, now!” Mrs. Bennett didn’t wait for her husband to say a word before hanging up.
“So, Aria is he like threatening or what?” Ivy curiosity piqued.
“Threatening or you mean filtering?” Was Aria’s response.
“Shush you girls, no one say anything till your father get there.”
It took Mr. Bennett an extra five minutes to get to the dining room where he joined his family in having breakfast.
“Can I continue?” Aria was in hurry to spill everything out.
“Of course darling.” Her mom permitted.
“So when I got to school last two weeks Monday, I was surprised to see Adrian Blackwood and was although more surprised that I actually recognized him but he doesn’t recognize me…”
“Or he’s playing stupid to get to you,” Ivy suggested.
“Possibly, that’s what I first thought, but I know we can never come in contact with the Blackwood family, yet this guy keeps pestering me, trying to be my friend or something, always wanting to seat with me in the cafeteria, stalking me during my dance practice, registering into art class just to be around me, threatening to follow me home if I don’t give him my number…”
“You not dare lead that boy to this house, and avoid him at every cost…” Mr. Bennett instructed.
“Dad, that is the most impossible thing ever, this boy is literally obsessed with me. He knows my schedule better than myself, he watches me, follows me without knowing, he scares boys from talking to me, he breaks into my locker and drops flowers and love notes and all kind of stuffs. Dad, mom, this boy terrifies me…”
“Terrifies? I would have already fallen in love with him and forgotten his family is forbidden in this home.” Ivy interrupted and continued eating.
“I’ll do something about it, get a private investigator, a spy, you know, someone to look into him and his family to find out their dirty plans. For the moment, I’ll talk to your principal to make him stay away from you and that’s he is a danger to your life.” Mr. Bennett assured.
“Thank you so much daddy.” Aria appreciated and her phone beeped.
“How come you’re just telling us this and it has being going on for weeks. That’s very bad of you Aria, were you secretly enjoying the attention you were getting?” Mrs. Bennett issued blames at Aria, and Aria was indeed shocked to hear her mom say that.
“I bet she was.” Ivy added and laughed. Aria became so pissed off. Her phone started beeping.
“Mom, how can you say that? I literally just said you guys have being difficult to reach. Are you for real right now?”
“Aria dear, you don’t need to find excuses for yourself. Own your mistakes for once.” Her mother added. Aria contorted her face in anger and her phone continued to beep.
“Reply your stalker for goodness sake. I can’t even think.” Ivy said, notifying Aria on the text she had being getting.
Aria took her phone and saw over nine messages from an unknown number.
“Hey friend” with a wink emoji.
“I can’t stop thinking about you. I miss your angry face. lol.”
“Why aren’t you replying?”
“You know what I hate? Snubs.”
“Don’t make me come over to your house pretty girl.”
“You think I don’t know where you live?”
“You think you can avoid me?”
“Answer me, I’m talking to you. Don’t taste my patience.”
“If you don’t reply me in the next two minutes, I’ll sneak into your room through your windows tonight and watch you sleep.”
Aria started hyperventilating and sweating even under the air conditioner. Adrian was a psychopath, she doesn’t think he’s working for his parents, she actually believes he truly was obsessed with her and she knows how deadly an obsession could get.
