Chapter three

1084 Words
When Aria got home, her personal servant miss Beth followed her to her room to assist her in whatever she needed. Aria didn’t hide the fact that she was upset, she decided that she was going to set clear boundaries between her and Adrain. She would be lying to herself if she didn’t think he was handsome but that doesn’t matter. They can never be friends, not to talk of being anything more. “Miss? Is there anything wrong? You don’t look too happy.” Miss Beth finally questioned after she noticed Aria’s mood. “Are my parents home?” Aria ignored Miss Beth’s question and asked hers instead. “Not yet ma’am.” Miss Beth responded. “Well, I need to report to them immediately. They are the ones who can do something about it. For you, I would love a glass of cold strawberry juice.” Aria demanded and her servant nodded in understanding and left. Aria spent the rest of her day studying and crafting some designs for a dress she was working on. She was on her apple laptop, from her laptop, to her iPad to her iPhone, keeping herself busy with things that would matter in the future, making her productive. Aria and her sister, Ivy had dinner without their parents. It was a usual occurrence, Aria knew she had to get used to it but she just couldn’t. She missed her parents so much, they could go days without seeing each other even though they live in the same house. Before Aria and her sister would wake up, their parents had already left and after they go to bed, that’s when their parents would return home. Aria had barely had a good conversation with her parents for years. On the other hand, Ivy’s only problem was that she was very jealous of her older sister and wanted to be better than her. She also wanted the company and everything Aria would own. She didn’t care if she hardly spent time with her parents, as far as her parents sponsored her luxurious lifestyle without having to ask too much, she was okay. Aria went to bed disappointed that night around 9pm. She was hoping to talk to her parents about Adrain, to seek advice on what to do about him. She knows within her that Adrain wasn’t going to leave her alone, he seemed like a lonely pathetic only child, that’s what she thought. The next morning, Aria got ready for school quicker than yesterday. She got into her limousine and was taken to school. She attended classes, talked and laughed with her friends, had lunch during break and after break, she went for dance practice in school. She took dance classes not because she wanted to be a dancer or even had any interest in dancing but her mom recommended she did something exciting apart from just studying in libraries and science labs. While she was at her dance practice. She followed the steps of her instructor and paid attention to the music. Tracy was also taking dance classes with her while the other two found interest in other stuff. However, Aria was dancing, eyes closed, she was feeling the music and the dance movement, she was into the dance and she was indeed quite an excellent dancer. She had to be excellent at everything she did. Meanwhile, as she slowly opened her eyes to her surroundings, her eyes darted at a towering shadow at the entrance door behind her. It was a boy, with great height and incredible physique. She was lust, watching this person and trying to figure out who he was and why he was watching her as well. He wasn’t watching her like his mind was else where, but he watched her like he was created to do just that. Aria admired that, and she kept looking at him. Now he was smiling and Aria had no other option but to smile back. “Aria!” A male voice thundered and Aria was startled. She turned around to her dance instructor who was calling her. “Can you focus?” He added. Aria took one more look behind her to the entrance door, only to find out the boy had fled. She was quite disappointed but then she had to take her dancing seriously. “Hmm! Aria tell me something, you now have a crush on what?” Tracy told Aria after their practice on their way to their lockers. “What? No.” Aria responded squeezing her face. “You know you can tell me, huh?” Tracy was in the mood for some hot gossips. “I don’t know what you’re talking about Tracy, please leave me alone.” Aria replied jokingly. “C’mon, can’t you admit you have feelings for someone? Even just once.” “No. I can’t.” Aria answered her and they both laughed. “Okay girl, talk later. I have to catch up with Mike.” Tracy pecked her on both cheeks and walked away. “Bye girl.” Aria said behind her, waving slightly. “Where is my kiss too?” Adrain flirted from behind Aria and she abruptly turned in shock. Honestly, she had almost forgotten that he existed, considering the fact that she hadn’t sighted him anywhere at school that day. “Oh, he’s still alive.” Aria said and rolled her eyes away dramatically. “I can die for you if you want.” He smirked at his response. “Yes please, do me the honor.” She begged and he just kept smiling at her. “You dance so beautifully. Like with no effort. Like that’s the reason you were created.” Adrain complimented seriously. “Oh dear, I get that a lot. Can you…” Aria cut herself short after she came to a realization. Was Adrain the one watching her at her dance practice? “Were you watching me? You bastard from the pit of hell.” She asked with her last sentence a whisper. “When exactly dear? I happen to watch you very frequently.” Aria’s heart skipped a thousand times on hearing that. Was this just a psychotic huge crush Adrain had on Aria? Or was this something she had to be scared for? What if his family had brought him here to her school to keep his eyes on her? Aria didn’t know which to think. But she knew she had to fear for her life.
