Chapter four

Unfortunately Aria couldn’t tell her parents anything about the heir of their sworn enemy over the weekend because her parents didn’t make it possible. When she got to school on Monday morning, she strolled into her morning art class with her regular friends and sat in the front roll as usual. She came in time for class today, and waited an extra five minutes for the teacher Mr Raymond to get in. Tracy cleared her throat, “Aria, look behind.” But Aria didn’t budge because she hated distractions whenever she’s in class. Tracy catcalled her, being persistent for her to take a look at the back of the class. “What? What is it?” Aria got frustrated and had to answer Tracy. “Look behind you.” Tracy whispered. “Tracy! Aria! Can you guys please focus?” Mr Raymond called. Aria took a peep behind her and Adrain wasn’t who she expected to see. She was instantly startled and her heart skipped a thousand times. He was smiling charmingly at her while she kept her face looking disgusted. “What the hell are you doing here?” Aria whispered to Adrain. “What? You forgot we go to the same school?” He replied. “What are you doing in my art class?” “I obviously came here to study art because I have passion for it and not because I want to admire you as you study.” Was Adrian’s sarcastic reply to Aria. Aria sighed, turned behind to look at him when the teacher wasn’t looking and opened her mouth to speak. “You’re so sick. You know that right?” “Miss Aria, please focus and stop distracting me, I wanna learn something valuable today.” He smirked. During the class, Aria tried her best to focus, having Adrian, her worst enemy behind her was so discomforting and distracting. She could feel his eyes on her. He was obviously stalking her, spying on her and trying to get to her. Aria promised herself to make sure her parents knew about that today, she could need an advice on what to do. It would be difficult to avoid him at all times in school and now he had somehow registered for art class. “Mr. Blackwood, could you please take your eyes off Aria and focus on the board?” Mr. Raymond, the art teacher said and the class got into a “Awwww” mode. Aria felt ashamed and requested for a change of sit. “Miss Adeline could you please switch seats with miss Aria?” The teacher asked and Adeline groaned before taking her stuffs with her to exchanged seats. “Thank you.” Aria appreciated and Adeline rolled her eyeballs. “Oh really?” Adeline said before taking her seat. “Sir, I would really like to change seats with the hairy guy next to Aria. I believe I would be much comfortable there.” Adrain said after raising his hand to get his teacher’s attention. “It’s Thomas and not “hairy guy next to Aria.” The boy spat out in annoyance and the entire class burst into laughter. “I could only care less about who you are, hairy guy.” Adrain intimidated Thomas. “Mr. Raymond, I don’t want Adrain near me.” Aria confessed. “Hey cutie, who said anything about wanting to be near you? I just would be comfortable having hairy guy’s seat.” Adrain said and Aria was pissed, including Thomas. “Adrian, please remain in your seat. I would love you to take this class seriously other than pestering Aria.” Mr. Raymond instructed and Aria was pleased. “If you want me to take this class seriously, then I need to be comfortable. Don’t make me call my daddy and tell him you’re being a jerk.” Adrain as arrogant as ever, was now intimidating his teacher. “Thomas please switch seats with Adrian so we could pick up from where I stopped.” The teacher ordered and the entire class was both amazed and surprised. “What the f**k?” Thomas exclaimed angrily. “Hurry up loser.” Adrian retorted. “Oh what could you possibly do without daddy?” Aria mocked Adrian and Tracy joined her in laughing. “Absolutely nothing!” He replied her, smirked as he collapsed on Thomas’ seat, right next to Aria, leaning on the seat like it was his throne. “You’re such a jerk.” Aria hissed frustratingly. “Oh, hi there sweetheart, I didn’t know you were next to me.” Adrain flirted. “Just pretend like you can’t see me, thanks.” Aria said and focused on her teacher. Adrain did not get his eyes off Aria, he kept staring at her like she was a piece of an expensive and inquisitive jewelry he wished to have. After the class, Tracy came over to meet Aria as she arranged her things to leave and get ready for their dance lesson when Adrian chimed in. “I so much hate that guy, like with literally every fiber of my being.” Aria grumbled quietly to her friend, Tracy. “Chill, maybe he just likes you…” Tracy said to her. “Yeah Relax darling, maybe I just like you.” Adrian chimed in behind them and Aria startled. “Are you so lonely?” Aria asked and began walking away. “Hey, I hear we have dance lessons next.” Adrain said as he rushed behind her, stopping her on her tracks. “What do you mean “we” Aria queried. “Oh I forgot to tell you, I signed up for dance lessons. Watching you dance the other day was so, so inspiring.” “Jezz, are you going to learn how to dance or watch my friend dance?” Tracy asked Adrian. “I could do both.” He shrugged. “Adrian… ugh, your name sounds so bitter in my mouth. I want to tell you this and I won’t say it again, stop pestering me, stop stalking me, stop filtering with me, I can never be your friend, we can never be friends, find other people to torment. Stop trying because it won’t work, I mean like it would never work. You’re arrogant and full of yourself, full of s**t, and I can never have anything to do with you, thank you.” Aria poured out rudely and began to walk away. “Ohhh, a bit too harsh, don’t you think?” Tracy whispered as she followed behind her. “Yeah hun, you won’t say it again.” He quoted her and slowly began walking behind them.
