“I can’t lie, that guy is cute,” Rose complimented as they made their way into their classroom. “I mean, look at his eyes, gosh, incredibly attractive.” Anna engaged in the conversation, blushing as she reminisced. “Are you guys forgetting how super rich he is, he is the heir of the Blackwood family, and the Blackwood family owns a multibillion dollar fashion company,” they all looked at Tracy in amazement, “what? I already did a background check.” “OMG super handsome and super rich. He needs to notice me.” Rose said “Like, I could literally just get married to him right now.” Anna remarked. “Are you guys stupid? He’s not even that good looking and he definitely lacks manners. Don’t tell me you guys actually find that cute.” Aria finally spoke up, tired of listening to her friends dream over her enemy. “Are you jealous?” Tracy teased and they all laughed expect Aria. “We saw him talking to her some minutes ago, she’s probably jealous that we are crushing on him.” Anna supported Tracy still laughing and it made Aria frustrated. “First of all, if that guy comes close to me ever again, I would use my pepper spray on him. Girls, If you want to have a crush on a guy it should be on someone with great personality and values.” Aria said “Did you miss the part where Tracy said he’s the heir to a multibillion dollar company? What other value should he need?” Rose said and then the other two nodded in support. Aria groaned and walked away from them to get to the class quicker. She wasn’t ready to have a fight with her friends over a boy she hated with passion, at least not yet. Aria paid complete attention to art teacher. She didn’t joke with her academics, she didn’t joke at all. She had a very serious personality and would do everything within her power to be a great CEO to her parents company, she wouldn’t let them down, she don’t want to be a failure to her entire generation. Adrian on the other hand, was however quite the opposite, carefree, playful and very unserious. His parents had being trying to make him to sit up and take his responsibility as the heir very seriously, but somehow they haven’t managed to succeed. When classes were over, Aria strolled to her locker to get her stuffs and go home. She left her parents behind as they gossiped with some boys. Gossips irritated Aria, it was like a waste of time and words. She sometimes don’t blame her friends for being totally unserious and different from her, because for one, none of them was a heiress in their family. It made her realize their lack of being responsible and she only hung out with them apart from them being next to the most prettiest girls in the school, they were also involved in fashion one way or the other. The first thing Aria saw in her locker immediately she opened it was a note. She usually gets notes from boys who wanted to get down with her or girls who wanted to be like her. She had had to change her lock on several occasions but yet again, they had managed to get access to it. But this note was different. She read it; “I don’t mind a pepper spray, because I would enjoy every torture that comes from you.” Aria’s eyes widened as she read the note, she turned to look around to find Adrian. Was he stalking her? How did he overhear her conversation with her friends? Her heart was beating faster and louder, but she hate to believe she was afraid because a heiress should be fearless, her father always told her. “Are you looking for me?” Adrian came out from the hallway, licking his lips. “Are you following me?” Aria asked frustratedly. “I’m following wherever my heart leads.” He smirked at his own words while Aria sighed. “Who gave you the right to drop garbage in my locker?” “Who gave you the right to be this extremely gorgeous.” “OMG you’re making it harder for me to hate you less.” “What is your name? C’mon let’s be friends. I’m new here I don’t have any friend.” Aria was very surprised that Adrian didn’t know her name. Was it that his family never mentioned her name and her family’s to him? To stay away from them. Or perhaps he was just too nonchalant to care. “I don’t make friends with bullies.” Aria responded sternly. “Ouch.” Adrian acted hurt. “And besides you’re the hottest boy in the school, everyone is dying to be your friend, so don’t act so pitiful.” Aria added. “Wow. So… you think I am the hottest guy in school.” He winked. “Oh my God. No, I don’t.” Aria said and slammed her locker shut. “You…” “Shush! My driver is here.” Aria cut short and walked away. He does nothing to stop her. Except from smiling admirably at her.
