An Invitation

Chapter 1 : Room 404D

"Early in the morning and here I am drinking my first coffee for the day.

Well, this is Tokyo Disney Sea and I am forced to go around here for the whole day with these kids (OBVIOUSLY NOT MINE)

but what I like about this place is the ambiance. The relaxing music. and these tables with big umbrellas. I can stay here all day for all care.I am sure after this breakfast I'll be left behind just like yesterday at Disney Land. HA HA HA

and true enough... there they go.... run run and away..."

Tom was savoring his coffee while his family members roam around the theme park when someone stand in front of him smiling.

" Hello" said the stranger. A muscular man who obviously came from a rich family.

Tom just stared at the man without saying anything since he is in the middle of taking a sip of his coffee.

when Tom put his cup down...

"Hello... Do you need anything?"

Tom is not sure why but he suddenly feel that this person knows him.

"I think you don't remember. hahaha But I am the occupant of room 404D. Remember? yesterday?"

"Yes...ter...." Tom almost blow his coffee out.

Yesterday. unfamiliar with the twin building set up. Instead of going to the right building he went to the left and ended up to this person's room trying to open the door with his key card.

Remembering the embarrassing event. Tom suddenly stood up and almost lost his balance. luckily the quick reflects of the man saved him. This time. they are standing toe to toe and Tom can see that they are almost same height and the other person sure is muscular compared to his thin frame.

"Thank you...Ow!!! I am sooo sorry about yesterday.... I didn't mean to intrude. it just that we share the same room number. sorry that I left without apologizing. sorry sorry"

seeing Tom's reaction, the man laugh so loud that Tom felt kinda awkward all of the sudden.

"that's Ok. I was also surprised to see someone trying to open my door out of the blue. although I didn't go out to meet you in person. I was able to see you through the door keyhole. hahahaha"

"I am really sorry about that." Tom continued to apologized.

"Hey. It's OK. hahaha I'm Sean by the way" Extending his hands.

" I'm Tom." shaking Sean's Hand.

"Want some coffee? That's the least I can offer to properly apologize hahaha"

"Hahaha sure. hey... you're alone? I might be disturbing you."

"well, I'm with my friend's family but they are going around by now. we will see each other by lunch or before dinner during fireworks. You? solo traveler?"

"Yes. This is my first time here in Tokyo and I really want to see just how beautiful this place is." Sean said while taking a seat beside Tom while looking at the Volcano from afar.

Tom looks at Sean and he can say that he is a good person.

after talking some time. Tom found out that Sean is 2 years older than him and that he is Korean although he speaks English fluently.

 " Since when have you been here?" Tom asked.

"3 Days ago.tomorrow is my last day here in Tokyo and I'll go to my friend in Osaka before we go back home to Korea. and you? since when have you been here?"

"well, just yesterday, that's why I got lost hahaha I am just accompanying my friend here then we will have to go back to Philippines for work."

"I see. It's so nice to talk to someone here, hahaha hey... I might be disturbing you. You can go with your friends."

"nah... I prefer just walk and admire the beauty of this place. I am not really fond of those rides but I really like it here."

" So... let me accompany you if you don't mind." Sean asked.

"Sure. No problem. where do you want to go first? the jungle or the robots?"

"hmmmm.... let's start with the jungle" Sean decides.

and so... Tom showed the park to Sean like he is a park guide rather than a tourist. and the whole day they spent it eating and exploring the huge park.

an encounter that will last for the next few years....
