Chapter 10: Sad

After training, I was dragged out of the training area and was lead to the pack house. We walked up the stairs and into our room. As the door shot close. Mat's lips crashed into mine. His kiss was passionate yet possessive. He was kissing the life out of me. I wrapped my hands around his neck as I kissed him back. He lifted me up, and I wrap my legs around his waist. He carried me into the bed, and placed me gently against it. Mat stops the kiss and looks deep into my eyes. "I have been restraining myself for way to long now" he says as my heart is beating like crazy. "But the way you took Rebecca was so damn sexy" he says as he likes his bottom lip. I bite my bottom lip "then don't, I'm all yours" I say as he places his hand on my check and cherish it. His eyes darken as he resumed to kiss me. He moved from my lips to my neck. He pulled my shirt over my head and so did I with his. I examined his body, every feature, it was like MoonGoddess sculpture him all by herself. He was a god. Mat made his way back up my neck, and started placing kisses on my sweet spot, I can't hold it back as I let out a moan. I can feel Mat smile as he can see the effect he has on me. He resumed the kisses on my neck and then he marked me. It was painful, but it soon became joyful. And as for now, I'm all his and he is all mine. There is no going back, even though I don't want to, because I love this man with all my heart.

I can't help but think that I will be spending the rest of my life with this guy that is asleep next to me. I brush his hair, his soft black hair. In an instant Mat is up from bed and out of the room running. Now that's strange, I think as I stay dumb faced at the door in which Mat just walked out.I get up from bed and I look out the window and I see a lot of wolves. I remembered that I had my mind-link shot off so I decided to turn it back on. As I did I came to realization what was going on. We were having another attack, Again. I roll my eyes and step out of the bedroom. Only to stop dead face into a wall, well actually a person. I let out a small growl "Matthew!" I cross my arms around my chest thinking of a way to scape, but it was of no use.
I hate that whenever there is an attack her always tries to lock me up. It's not like I don't know how to defend myself. I return to the bedroom and close the door behind me. I mind-link Samantha to see if she needed help with the kids, but she told me that she had everything under control. I let out a frustated sigh feeling like I'm useless. What type of Luna am I that I can't even defend my pack? Thoughts of insecurities rise on my mind. But I shot them out as I laid back in bed and drifted myself to sleep. Since it's the only thing I can do right now. Since someone looked me in the bedroom, leaving me to do nothing.
-The Next Day-
I wake up to an empty bed. I shifted and turned looking for warmth. But the only thing I could feel was coldness. Matthew didn't sleep here last night. I got up from bed in an instant and rushed down the stairs amost sprinting, looking for Matthew. Once I arrived into the kitchen with my face is all worried and scared.
I find Sebastian and Conrad at the kitchen table looking miserable. "Where is he?" I ask as both boys snapped their heads in my direction, making me realice that they were so cought up in their minds that they didn't notice my presence. Sebastian got up from his chair and stepped closer to me. I'm starting to get paranoid. He pulled me close for a tight hug. And before I notice my eyes are getting clouded by my tears that were scaping my eyes. "Sebastian where is he?" I ask as I pull out of the hug and clear my tears.
"Look Ale-" I cut him off. "Sebastian I love you but don't make me use my Luna voice on you" I look dead into his eyes. Conrad got up and walked towards us. He puts a hand on Sebastian's shoulder and then looked into my eyes. "Come with me Alexis" said Conrad as he lead me into the hall.
At the end of the hall there was the last door. Conrad pushes past those doors, with my wolf hearing I managed to hear a heart monitor beating. I enter the room and that's when my own heart stopped beating. My soulmate, my best friend, my lover, my mate, my everything, laying in a bed unconscious and fighting for his live. I broke down to the floor, it was like my knees couldn't carry me anymore. Tears in my eyes, I just couldn't believe my eyes. Those beautiful green forest eyes that I will kill to see right now are closed shot. Conrad lifted me from the floor even though I tried to fight it. He took me out of the room and into the hallway. He standed in front of the door, I tried to go inside the room again but he didn't move. "Let me go inside Conrad" I said through sobs.
"Pull yourself together. This pack needs a Luna right now. We are falling apart. And the only person that can pull us back together other than Matthew is you" Conrad said as I normalized my breathing. It's true this pack needs it's Luna and I'm going to be one.
