I Hate/Love this Mafia Man

Emiliano's POV

“Well the person who shot at was most likely our cousin, or an enemy of ours that saw us with you….” I say to her.

“So let me get this straight, someone was in my restaurant watching YOU and saw us together and assumed we were a thing and decided to kill me and my son because of you?” she says glaring at us. Honestly she looks so cute when she's  mad, but I can't tell her that or she'd probably kill me. 

Enzo interrupts my thoughts saying,  “Yes, Kadesha, it was because of us. We didn't expect anything to happen to you especially so soon. But that's probably what we SHOULD have expected especially since that Bastard Cosimo, our cousin, is ba…. Wait did you talk to a man that kind of looks like us height and nose wise but with black shoulder length hair and a tiger tattoo on his hand?” 

She thinks for a second, “ Yea, I remember the tiger had man… why?”

I grin at her and raise my eyebrow “Tiger hand man?” She rolls her eyes at me and shrugs “It's that or the creep that tried to get in my pants, and tried to use his wife as incentive for a threesome.” Enzo and I both tense up hearing this. “He tried to come onto you? He's married now? What else did he say?! I'll kill him you're ours” Everyone is asking her questions at the same time. “IF YALL SHUT UP I CAN ANSWER YOU!” she yells. 

Dante, who has been quiet until now chuckles, “I like her, she's going to straighten all of you right out.” She looks at him confused then look at Enzo and I “Yes he asked me to f**k him, I said no becuse I dont want him for my own reasons not because of you. No I am not YOURS I am not property, if you ever try to treat me like property i’ll smack the taste out of your mouth. Oh and he called her his woman, I assumed he meant wife so I don't know if they're really married or not.”

Everyone is just quiet as she has a stare down with me, because I’ve killed people for less and she looks fearless and she challenges me. Enzo tries to diffuse the tension, “Um angel why I show you to your room so you and your son can rest. I know you've had a long day, and tomorrow we can go up to your restaurant to up security so you can be safer at work as wel….” “She’s staying in a room with me and you and she's NOT going anywhere tomorrow,” I interrupt. Enzo sighs looking at Kadesha’s face, already seeing how this is going to go. He just takes a seat and a sip of my drink. Kadesha is quiet for a while as she opens the door and hands her now sleeping son to a waiting Maria on the other side and says “Hi, remember how you said you wouldn't mind watching him if I needed you to while I'm here. Well could you watch him right now, I need to cuss out and maybe castrate Emiliano and my son doesn't need to be around that. Also if anything happens to my son ill kill everyone in here and burn this s**t down” Maria has a shocked face that turns into a smirk as she looks at the rest of us in the room “OF COURSE bellissima, you take all the time you need and i'll put him in bed…. Give them hell and I won't let anything happen to your son.” 

Maria leaves and Kadesha walks back into the room and locks the door and walks right up to me… and smacks me so hard it echoes around the room. To say everyone is shocked is an understatement. The other men look conflicted because they're supposed to protect Enzo and I from all threats but I said Kadesha is ours so they can't really do anything but watch. 

“I could have sworn I said I AM NOT YOUR PROPERTY EMILIANO! I am GOING to my restaurant tomorrow with Enzo, I am NOT staying in your room tonight. I'm not staying in any room with you tonight, if it wasn't for the fact that my son is sleeping I would've left already. Tomorrow, I'm leaving and going to my restaurant and somewhere else for protection. I'm not staying here so you can act like a caveman and stress me out.” she says defiantly to my face.

I touch my face, shocked, because no one has hit me since my b***h of an Aunt had years ago. I can't believe it but i’m speechless, in one night this one woman has cussed me out publicly and now slapped me. And after all that I still want her, I want her even more weirdly enough. I take a deep breath and say “Everyone out but Kadesha and Enzo.” and then I take a seat at the head of the table next to Enzo. They all file out and close the door behind them but not before I hear Dante say “Good luck boys” with a laugh.
