“Can I ask you a question before I change?” She murmured, not sure if he will be truthful with her.
“Yes, you can,” He said gently.
“Promise me, you are going to tell me nothing but the truth” Charlotte suspected he will lie to her.
“Are you some sort of judge or what?” Scott fancied it because of the way she said her previous statement.
“Just answer me and stop pretending” Charlotte muttered, rolling her eyes.
“ Can't promise that yet” Scott murmured, getting tired of the question already.
“Just promise to tell the truth, is that too hard? “ She groaned, getting frustrated.
“Okay, fine” He surrendered.
“Better, that wouldn't have taken long to say instead of making me repeat myself” She smirked and Scott chuckled.
“Now can you ask your question Madam?” Scott bowed formally, and Charlotte burst out laughing.
"You are crazy and funny at the same time, who knows if you might do so in the future” Charlotte joked, enjoying Scott's company and great affection towards him.
“Who?” He glared and she chuckled.
“Okay, enough of the joke. Back to my question” Charlotte Said seriously.
“Listening” Scott whispered in a feminine tone.
“Jeez……. I will behave as if I didn't hear that” Charlotte muttered, avoiding his gaze this time.
“Your choice” Scott rolled his eyes.
“Nothing but the truth,” She reminded him.
“Yeah, I got that” Scott verbalized.
“You told me that the name of your pack is The Blood river Pack and you are the Beta of the pack. Didn't you?” She started seriously, and Scott was staring at her motionlessly.
Where are you driving?” Scott questioned, trying to pinpoint what she was about to ask.
“You will get to know, so just answer my questions truthfully” She insisted and patted his back in an assuring way.
“Okay, I told you that is the name of my pack. I wasn't lying about that” He claimed, seriously ruffling his hair.
“ I didn't say you were lying. Can you just tell me the name of your Alpha?” Charlotte blurted out and bit her lips waiting for his response, and surprisingly, he laughed.
“So that's the question, and you were talking as if you are going to ask an important question” Scott blabbed.
Huh?Not relevant, you mean?” She questioned expressionlessly.
“ Yeah, it is not because I won't tell you until you get to see it yourself” He snapped and touched her hair making her get that strange feeling, so she shoved his hands away.
“You are not done so don't touch my hair, just answer my question” Charlotte groaned tiredly.
“Nope, you will get to know in due time, so go change, you are tired already. “ Scott spluttered, pushing her to the woods to change up.
“What a wicked soul” Charlotte exclaimed, spanking his head while he laughed.
A few minutes later........
“Charlotte!” Scott yelled, getting tired of waiting for her at another side of the woods, so she can change up.
“Why yell my name like that?” Charlotte rolled her eyes, cursing at him inwardly.
“ Were you giving birth in there” Scott wondered why she took long in just to change.
“Were you the one that slept with me, huh?” Charlotte blurted out loudly and quickly covered her mouth.
“What the f**ck, that's gross” Scott muttered irritatingly. His statement hurt Charlotte and made her wonder why.
“Did I say that out loud?” She murmured, trying to hide her hurt feelings.
“Yes, miss” Scott babbled and started heading out of the woods.
“Whatever” Charlotte Said and glared at him, feeling like punching him.
“You look cute in that dress though” Scott complimented as they were heading out, and she blushed, but she hid her face not wanting him to make fun of her.
“Thanks. Where are we heading to? “ She questioned immediately when they got out of the woods.
“I want to show you around Beacon hills and also get you an apartment” Scott explained, and she jumped up happily.
“ Yippee, thanks a lot. So, this place is called Beacon hills, wow” Charlotte exclaimed admiring the place.
“Yeah, for your information” He teased her then poke her nose making her wolf jiggle.
“Stop acting cocky Mister” She huffed and rolled her eyes.
“Let's keep going before it gets dark, we've been talking for a long period of time”
“ Ok, but you promise to show me around, don't fail your promise now” Charlotte pleaded.
“ I don't fail promises, trust me on that, we are heading to town now.” He replied simply.
“ This place looks cool and awesome”
“ You can say that again, it is always peaceful”
“Wow I can tell this is a mall, it looks breathtaking” Charlotte adored the mall.
“ Definitely, this is where I got you the dress”
“ Thanks for all you do, I can't thank you enough” Charlotte thanked him and stared at him dreamily.
“ My pleasure, you are fun to be with though,” Scott said and smiled.
“ Awn, Glad it is coming from you” Charlotte exclaimed happily.
“ As your Lordship pleases” Scott prostrated.
“ You are indeed funny,” Charlotte said, laughing out loud.
“So as you, I won't lie”
“You've said that before, mister”
“ Who said I can't keep on saying that?” Scott asked and smirked.
“ Whatever big mouth”
“ You are calling me that again?”
“ You don't like it? It really fits you. I won't lie”
“ You are crazy, for all the names in the world so that's what you could come up with, huh?”
“I came up with it because that's what suit you, and it is not bad giving a name that suits you”
“ Yenyenyen,” Scott blabbed.
“ Where is this? It looks so big and gigantic” Charlotte gasped at the gigantic Mansion in front of her.
“That's the Alpha's Mansion,” Scott replied.
“ Ohhh, wait…, Is this your pack?”
“Your answer will be communicated to you later” Scott groaned, getting tired.
“ Stop talking like a teacher which you are not” Charlotte rolled her eyes.
“ Who told you I am not?” Scott questioned, folding his arms.
“ You don't look like one and who will concentrate in a class when you are the teacher” Charlotte muttered staring at his eyes but quickly diverting her gaze because of the connection.
“ Where are you driving again?” Scott wondered where on Earth he brought this troublesome Lady from.
“ You are too handsome, don't feel yourself. No strings attached” She whispered but lied at her last statement.
“I won't believe that” Scott snapped, biting his lips sexily.
“You can believe you have a big mouth then” Charlotte yelled, laughing out loud.
“F**k you. Time to go check apartments for you” Scott enunciated, perceiving the place if there are any intruders.
“ Yippee, finally” Charlotte gasped happily.
“Let's take this way” Scott directed, dragging her to the corner while she glared at him.
“Hope this place treats me well” She imagined biting her lips nervously.
“Don't be so sure because anything can happen, but note that None of your pack members is going to see you again”
“Better.” She huffed and immediately someone just appeared causing dark flames and making Scott and Charlotte choke.
