Laura’s Pov
Jade is sitting straight up, sleeping. His clothes soaking wet from the blood. I started panicking.
“Jade, Jade?” I called out when I saw the sharp object lying next to him with a bottle of what looked like booze.
He opened his eyes and gave me the most beautiful smile.
“Your here.” He said softly. Pulling me onto his lap.
“Of course, I’m here. Where else would I be?”
“I was scared I won’t open my eyes this morning and see your beautiful face.” He kissed me passionately and with every touch I can feel the relief.
“What did you do?” I search his wound.
“I manage to get the bullet out and use some homeless man’s booze to clean the wound.” He answered tiredly.
