They were both so engrossed in the movie they did not hear the front door open or shut. Neither of them noticed the figure who walked up behind the couch.
Mike had turned the lights down low so they were oblivious to the person standing behind the couch, looming over them, until he spoke.
"What're you guys up to?"
Both Mike and Jasmine nearly fell to the floor in their haste to turn around. The result was popcorn being flung in every direction and a loud screech filling the room, emitted by both of them.
Standing over them was Mike's older brother, Bradley. He let out a peal of laughter at their reaction.
"You jackass! Was that really necessary!?" Mike asked, annoyed.
"Nope, doesn't make it any less fun though," Bradley replied.
Mike continued to glare at him while Jasmine started cleaning up the scattered popcorn. She had paused the movie and was purposefully avoiding eye contact with Bradley. She found him detestable and he had a habit of making her uncomfortable. It wasn't that he was a bad guy, he was just a little too wild and intimidating for her liking.
"Hi there little bunny, I almost didn't see you there." He wasn't going to let her off the hook that easily.
She lifted her hand in an awkward but silent greeting, she didn't trust her voice enough to speak. He knew she was shy and wouldn't let up so quickly.
"I'd love to take you out some time, maybe work on your confidence, seeing as Mike isn't taking a shot."
Jasmine felt her face flush, his words brought thoughts of what they had been doing before he had arrived. Unsure of how to respond to this blatant attempt to tease her, she glanced at Mike and just shook her head. Mike was still staring his brother down.
"She has more sense than falling for a dumbass like you." Mike was hiding his anger quite well, but on the inside he was burning up and his brother knew this.
"Seems like I've touched a nerve. Sorry bro. I'll leave you two to it then." He gave them a sly smile and a wink before turning on his heel and heading down the hall to his room. They heard the door slam shut and then there was silence.
"Let me help you with that." Mike took the bowl from her hand and helped clean up the last of the popcorn.
"Lets just watch the rest of the movie, ignore him, I doubt he'll come back out of his room." He sat down and motioned for her to join him.
She glanced down the hall one more time before joining him. She was still lost in thought as they continued watching.
Not too long after getting comfortable, the movie was over. "Well that was almost as disappointing as the last one." Mike clicked off the television and threw the remote onto the table.
"What?" Jasmine seemed a little lost, "Oh yeah... definitely." She realised he had to be talking about the movie.
"Hey, are you OK?" He became concerned, she seemed a little out of it.
"Just tired, think I need a good night's sleep." There was a pause, "Would you walk me home?" As much as she loved horror movies, they had taught her one fundamental rule: Don't wander around at night alone, and even then you're not guaranteed to get away safely.
"You know, you could stay in the guest room and avoid being all alone at home." This was pointed out to her often enough, but she had never taken him up on it, she felt most comfortable in her own bed. This time was different. It was about breaking boundaries and being outside the box. So this time, to his utter surprise, she was going to take him up on his offer.
"Why not, I'm exhausted, I can go home tomorrow morning for a shower and fresh clothes." She was determined to try new things, including sleeping over at a guy's house. Deep down she feared that if she left then it would all turn out to be some fantastical fever dream. Better to let it ride.
They walked down the hall together and stopped in front of the guest room door. It was across from Mike's bedroom and next to Bradley's. Bradley's door was still shut but faint music could be heard through it.
"There you go. You know where everything is, just knock if you need anything." He turned towards his own door.
"Night Mike." Once she closed the door behind her she stood motionless for a while just thinking.
After stripping down and pulling on some sweatpants to sleep in, Mike lay in bed reliving everything that had happened mere hours earlier. He'd gotten so close to her that he could almost still feel the heat of her body against his own. The thought made his body feel hot and he could feel himself harden.
"Don't worry, tomorrow has a lot more in store for us." He turned over and let himself fall asleep, imagining all the things he wanted to do to her, hoping he could make it a reality.
As tired as Jasmine had been minutes ago, she felt restless and wide awake now. She lay in bed tossing back and forth as sleep wouldn't come. She decided to open the window, hoping some fresh air would help.
It cooled her skin but she still felt charged up. Maybe this had been a bad idea after all. She'd be a lot more comfortable in her own bed. It wasn't that the guest room wasn't comfortable, the bed was soft and the covers matched the curtains, the room was tasteful and smelled of fresh linen, but it was none of that, it was just the feeling of knowing it wasn't her own room.
It was too late now, she didn't want to wake Mike just so she could be a baby and go home.
Instead, she headed to the kitchen for a glass of water. On her way back she did some channel surfing with the volume muted and finally she decided to give up and go lie in bed until sleep came.
As she reached her door she noticed the bathroom door was slightly ajar, light crept into the hall and she could hear the shower running. Her curiosity got the better of her and she crept forward to take a peek. It wasn't like she hadn't seen it before.
She peeked through the opening and was surprised to find Bradley in the shower. She had just assumed it was Mike and hadn't even considered that it could be his older brother.
Embarrased over her obvious mistake, she began to turn away when she saw movement inside the shower with Bradley.
He stood under the running water firmly gripping his fully erect p***s. It was a little bigger than Mike's, the sight of it made her feel turned on all over again.
His hand was working back and forth, stopping at short intervals as he edged himself towards climax. She had an unobstructed view as he stood propping himself against the shower wall with his left side exposed to her.
It was clear that he was close to finishing as he grunted with the effort of holding back.
Jasmine stood watching him as her heart raced and she felt herself become very wet in response. She'd never really sexualised Bradley before and had conflicting feelings about watching him pleasure himself.
All too soon he was done, breathing a little heavier as he released his load and moaning in pleasure as he did so. He let the water wash away the evidence and turned to pull the towel hanging over the shower a little closer.
Jasmine ducked out of sight and prayed she had been quick enough to avoid detection. There was silence from the bathroom and just as she thought she could breathe a sigh of relief he spoke, loud enough for her to hear, but not quite a shout.
"Did you enjoy the show bunny? Would've been better if you'd come in and helped a guy out." He didn't sound mad, on the contrary, he sounded playful and sly. She wasn't sure which was scarier.
She could hear him shut the water off and step out and she chose this moment to take off down the hall, run into her room and shut the door. Not sure what to expect, she stood with her back to the door and waited.
His footsteps were barely audible through the door but she tensed when they stopped. She couldn't tell how far down the hall he was, he could be in front of her door or his door. She concentrated hard, trying to listen for any movement.
When she heard the door next to hers close she finally let out the breath she'd been holding. Without another thought, she got back into bed. It took a while for her heart to stop hammering, but once it did, she finally managed to drift to sleep, clutching a pillow between her legs.
Mike woke around eight in the morning. His body was conditioned for early rising. He considered this to be sleeping in.
After relieving himself and cleaning himself up in the bathroom, he roamed towards the kitchen and noticed the distinct smell of fried bacon.
His first thought was that Jasmine was surprising him with breakfast, not that she was much of a morning person. Instead, he found Bradley making a full breakfast spread.
"You're cooking breakfast?" his tone held sarcasm and disbelief.
"I got up in a good mood and I'm doing something nice for you and your friend. Don't f*****g ruin it. Andy continued his cooking, only looking up to give Mike a warning look.
"Fine, fine, sorry." It was rare for his brother to be this nice, but why question a good thing?
Bradley was just finishing up and asked, "Aren't you going to wake her up for breakfast?"
There was no need. Before Mike could answer, Jasmine walked into the kitchen yawning and rubbing her face. For the second time in only a few hours she assumed Bradley was Mike. "What's cooking good lookin'?"
"Don't you know it.". Bradley shot back, he was purposeful in his delivery.
At the sound of his voice she stopped dead in her tracks and opened her eyes to take in the kitchen. Mike smiled at her, knowing she'd feel mortified at saying this to his brother and as she made eye contact with Bradley he winked at her with a smug grin on his face.
When she had awoken that morning she had forced the images of the previous night's peeping tom moment out of her mind, pretending it was all just a crazy dream. It was clear he wasn't going to do the same.
"That wasn't meant for you," she said defensively. All she could hope for now was that he didn't decide to share with the group.
"So feisty in the morning! Here, maybe some food will cheer you up!" He handed her a loaded plate of breakfast and set on before Mike.
He didn't wait around for thanks, he grabbed his own plate and a bottle of fruit juice and headed outside to eat in the morning sun. If not for their awkward encounter she probably would have followed, it was a beautiful morning, but she would make due eating in the kitchen next to Mike.
"I'm gonna head to the gym soon. I'll be back in about an hour. Do you wanna hang around or head home for that shower and a change of clothes?" Mike asked as he ate his breakfast.
"No way am I staying here alone with him." She nodded her head in the direction Bradley had disappeared in.
Mike seemed amused by this and proceeded to tease her, "What? Are you scared you can't cage the s****l tiger I let loose last night?Afraid you'll jump his bones?" His statement caught her a little off guard and she blanched at the implication. "Wh-What?! No... I don't..." she was suddenly flustered and at a loss for words.
"Just kidding." Mike laughed, he had finished off his plate and was clearing the table. Fortunately, he had turned his back on her as her face paled.
"Maybe you can come over for a swim after the gym. The weather is looking great." It was barely the start of the day and it was already scorching hot. He nodded his agreement. He had already thought about it before she had offered.
He took this opportunity to take a quick shower and, after finishing her own breakfast, she grabbed her bag and headed home. Bradley was forgotten and pushed from her thoughts like a really bad dream.
