Narrator’s Point of View
Amara refused to believe the monster’s statement. Alam niya sa sarili niya na hindi totoo ang sinasabi nito, and he’s only saying those words to crumble her hope that someone will come and rescue her. It is a monster’s delight to see its prey in despair and horror; and she will never give it to him. She will never show the reaction it is anticipating. Never.
“Hindi ‘yan totoo. Alam kong marami pang buhay!” she insisted.
She saw how the monster’s grin turned into a pissed off expression. “Bakit hindi mo na lang sila kitain sa kabilang buhay?!” singhal nito at marahas na inabot ang dungeon guide.
