The next day, Crystal was dressing up for Calissa when King Adalwolf came in. When Calissa saw the King, she smiled.
"Your highness" Crystal said and bowed her head then the King nodded his head.
"How are you doing, Calissa" King Adalwolf said.
"I'm fine and you" Calissa said with a smile.
"Crystal, can you please excuse us" King Adalwolf said.
"Okay, your highness" Crystal said bowing her head then she left.
A minute later King Adalwolf sat on the bed, Calissa was about to sit on the floor when he called her.
"Yes, your highness" Calissa answered.
"You can sit with me" The King said then Calissa smiled, she sat beside the King on the bed.
King Adalwolf and Calissa were staring at themselves when Amoux barged in. When the King saw Amoux, he glared at me.
"I'm sorry, your highness" Amoux said and bowed his head.
"Why did you barge in?" King Adalwolf said.
"I knocked on the door but there was no response from her, then I thought she was in danger and that was the reason why I entered" Amoux said, still bowing his head.
" Raise your head up?" The King said.
"Your highness, when I entered the dungeon where the maid and Arnou are… Arnou has escaped and the maid was dead" Amoux said.
"What?? How did it happen?" King Adalwolf said.
"I don't know, your highness… I'm sorry" Amoux said and bowed his head.
King Adalwolf went out of the room then Amoux followed him.
"How did it happen? Was it Darren that came to rescue him" Calissa thought.

King Adalwolf was deep in thought in his chamber when Amoux tapped him
"Your highness, I will find out how everything happened" Amoux said.
"I think it was Hemlock that rescued Arnou" King Adalwolf said.
"Your highness, I will look into it he matter" Amoux said then the King nodded his head his head in affirmation.
Amoux bowed his and left.
Few minutes later, the priests entered the chamber.
"Your highness" The priests said and bowed their heads.
"I don't even know who to trust between you all… Arnou has escaped and the maid is dead" King Adalwolf said then the priests glanced at themselves, and started murmuring.
"Your highness, we don't know how it happened" One of the priests said, then all the priests bowed their heads.
"I think it was Hemlock that caused it" one of the priests said then King Adalwolf raised his head.
"I will find out myself if it is Hemlock" King Adalwolf said.
"Your highness, we need to punish Hemlock, he is turning all the wolves he captured into slaves" Another priest said.
"What?? I must do something" King Adalwolf said then the priests nodded their heads.
"You can all leave" The King said then the priests bowed their heads and left.
"Hemlock, you have looked into it he eye of the angry lion" King Adalwolf said,angrily.

"Thank you for rescuing me, your highness" Arnou said, bowing his head for King Hemlock.
"You are welcome… I will tell the maids to prepare you what you will eat" King Hemlock said.
"Thank you, your highness… how are going to kidnap that stupid human and kill Adalwolf" Arnou said.
"Don't worry about it, I will send my guard to do the job" King Hemlock said.
"Okay, your highness" Arnou said and bowed his head then he left.
"Adalwolf, I have to kill you" King Hemlock thought.
Few minutes later, King Hemlock was in his thoughts when Darren came in.
"Your highness" Darren said and bowed his head.
"What is it?" King Hemlock asked.
"Your highness, the priests are outside, they said they are here to see you" Darren said.
"I don't want to see them" King Hemlock said.
Darren was about to say something when one of the priests barged in.
"Hemlock, we want you to leave the throne, you are so wicked… you are killing everyone like an animal" The priest named Alaric said, angrily.
King Hemlock got angry at what Alaric said then he used his power to kill him.
"Go and dump his corpse in the bush and hang his neck outside so that everyone can see it" King Hemlock said.
"Okay, your highness" Darren said and bowed his head then he left.
When Darren saw the priests outside, he bowed his head and showed them the corpse.
"All of you should leave here before the King tells me to kill you" Darren said then the priests started murmuring.
"Let's go" one of the priests said then they left.
Darren went to the river to dump the corpse when he was done, he went back to the palace. When he got there, he hung up the head of the corpse then he went to the King chamber.
"Your highness, I'm done" he said and bowed his head.
"Okay, the next thing I want you to do is to kidnap that human and bring her here" King Hemlock said.
"Okay, your highness" Darren said.
"You can go" King Hemlock said then Darren bowed his head and left.
