I saw her fall to the ground and then I saw red with pure rage. f*****g rogue wolves!
I jump over Karime's body and take a protective stance in front of her. I growl, ready to rip out the throats of whichever one is coming for her.
They all come at once. Some phasing into their wolf forms, others running in human form. I mind link my pack to give them our location.
The first wolf comes at me...I grab him by the throat, rip it out and then throw him to side like a rag doll. The other two wolves reach me and I throw myself at one. The other jumps on my back. I howl but then use my teeth to pull him off me while the other one tries to bite at my throat. Before I can get a hold of the brown one in the throat they both jump off me at the same time.
