"I've been informed of the..." Aaron is saying but gets cut off by Mark who claps his hand loudly.
"Alright everyone, great work today. Eva, pardon me."
Mark draws me away from the couple and I heave a sigh of relief.
I don't know what Aaron was about to say but I was getting sensitive with Maya's remarks about her past. And the way she kept looking at me made me feel like a home wrecker.
Whatever Aaron had told her must have given her the idea that I was crazy over him.
I'm glad they're together now but I'm sorry to disappoint Maya. I was never crazy over Aaron and right now, I feel less for him, whatever I felt back then.
