  Eva's POV   Sighing, I glance up to look at her again. My eyes soften as I bring down my defenses.   After all the cleaning and the impromptu meeting with David, I'm still feely on the subject of the interview. I shouldn't take it out on Jules.   "Sorry, there's just been a lot on my mind lately."   "Is it about him?"   She doesn't say his name but we both know who's she's referring to.   I chuckle, it's empty and void of emotion.   "No."   I don't want to bore Jules with any of this.   "Seriously, Eva? It's not because of him?" Her eyes dare me to lie again.   Sighing, I shift my plate to an empty spot on the sofa.   Jules' eyes melt with understanding as she leans in closer.
