Aaron's POV
Everything is just going wrong. I should have just stayed put. Maya was almost on my side.
We were getting back to being friends again. Then I went ahead to ruin it because of this f**k face who wouldn't take no for an answer.
I couldn't help it. When I saw him going into that shop with Eva, I tried to ignore them.
But then, ten minutes passed and they weren't out. I got curious.
Only merely curious. I was worried, for Eva.
That's all it was.
I told Maya to wait up for me as I stood and left our table to go after them.
I just wanted to see what they were up to. I didn't plan to interrupt anything.
