  Evas POV   The car ride home is a quiet, comfortable thing. I've successfully convinced Mason that everything is alright, even my mind is back to thinking about last night and Aaron.   Mason is absorbed in his phone as he concentrates on driving, probably researching the "Soundtrack Awards" he'd been so excited about.   I stare out the window, watching the city lights blur into streaks of color, but I don't see them. All I see is the heavy, suffocating weight of my guilt.   It's a passenger in the car with me, and it doesn't want to get out.   We pull up to my apartment building. I give Mason a quick, sloppy kiss on the cheek, a gesture that feels more like a performance than an act of affection.   I just need to be alone.
