Monday, the next week, Mason shows up to my office wearing a huge grin.
"Hey baby," he bends at the waist to kiss my cheek.
"Lily..." I give Lily a side-eye to excuse us.
Lily has kept to her word since the last month. She hasn't said a word to anyone about my relationship with Mason and I'm really pleased to know that she doesn't break her promises.
She's a great secretary and I hope that she will continue to be.
Lily gives me a sly grin as she slides out of the office.
Since my run-in with Aaron last week, I've been trying my best to be focused on everything.
