"I am a little," Laurent paused and gulped. His expression didn't look good. Almost like he was swallowing a bug as he continued, "A little worried."
"Worried about what?"
Laurent answered, "Alice is not in the best state of mind these days."
"Oh? You know her better than me? Do tell them. What is troubling her?"
Met with Laurent's silence, Samirah was also feeling frustrated. Now she could vaguely understand why Alice was always angry when she had to face this guy. He had the inborn quality of annoying others!
"Aren't you the one annoying her over a closed chapter? Why do you have to keep digging at the old wounds when she is trying to heal from them?"
