Aunt Emma just laughed and kept kneading. When the dough was finally kneaded, large burners were brought bout by aunt Emma and they were fired up. A huge pot was placed on it and a ton of oil was dumped in it to fry the dough. Samirah particularly liked the frying part. Because the dough was kneaded so well, the small balls puffed up as they were fried in the oil. She liked seeing the fluffy little things get crispy and golden on the outside. She wanted to try one but remembered that they were not allowed to eat the entire day and stopped herself in time. Frying was relatively easy and was done within an hour.
