Gabriel's landline in his office rang and he saw the string of numbers before picking it up. It took a while to do so, as he had to sprint over to the desk and remember who the number belonged to from the long list of numbers in his notebook before recognising it was Samirah.
During that time, the phone was ringing, Danielle raised an eyebrow and a tiny glint of reproach shone in her eyes.
