I Am The King

I have packed up for the trip to the Eclipse pack. A place where only the strongest around the world could get the chance to train there. My cousin's three boys, who are the youngest of her kids, were finally excepted after over seventy-five years of training. Being triplets had it's perks, they understand one another with out having to communicate. They are the youngest of the group to leave. Even if you are strong you are not a loud to just walk up and say train me. You have to be invited and I have been given permission to stay for three days. Just to watch, after three days they will send back any of them deemed unfit for their program.

I was nervous it had been thousands of years since I stepped foot onto that land. She won't be there, I thought. Images of the raven haired beauty with those hazel eyes, flashed before my eyes. She was the one who had stolen my heart all those years ago. When she died a part of me died with her. The only thing that kept me alive was the thought that she would come back to me. I will see her again, I have to, I need to see her again. I King Timothy Dark Night will see my mate again, my thoughts are interrupted by a knock on my door. "Enter.", I say already knowing that it's my beta. "My King the vehicles are ready and the trainees are down stairs ready to go." Devin my beta says, standing a little ways from the open doorway. Devin is my most trusted friend, the only one who stood by me through it all. "Are you nervous? You know Josh will be there, you're going to have to not start a fight with him." Devin said. I must look like a mess if Devin is saying something. Taking a deep breath before I answered him. "I know, I can't mess this up. I have waited this long to convince the alpha to let me come on to their lands. I'm sure Josh isn't to happy about it. I'll keep my distance, don't worry." "As you say my king, so it shall be done." Devin leaves my room, heading to my office where he will be working till I come back.

Walking down the stairs I see my cousin's boys with the their red eyes, that they got from their mom. Lord Etenburg's daughter sizing me up with her violet eyes, that is the only thing I can tell are from her farther. The twins are my sister's youngest, she was thrilled to hear that her kids would be going. They have her crazy blonde curls looking like angels with their bright light blue eyes. They looked just like their mom did at that age. Next to them Lord Hall's daughter Sarah had her grey eyes cast down, though she had alpha blood, she knew she was no match for me. Off in the corner was the biggest problem of them all. Kyle Harper, just his name is getting me into a fit. He was just a werebear before some vamp came and changed him, against his will. He use to be a loving guy, now he's anything but that. Always causing problems, he has a hard time controlling his thirst around people.

"I expect you all to show respect to your host. You get out of hand, they will be punishing you not me. Is that understood?" I say all of this while looking at Kyle. Kyle lifts his head, looking at me in the eyes with his silver ones. "Yes my king." All but Kyle says. "Is that understood, Kyle?" I spit out angrily while hold myself back from punching him in the face. "Yes Alpha, I understand." Kyle says this while glaring at me. I shake my head trying to clear my head. "Gods only know why they chose you." I mumbled under my breath.

"Let's go. John, Joey and James you get in the first truck. Lucie, Layla and Violet you get in the next one. Sarah, you and Kyle are riding with me, in the last one." I say walking to the vehicles. Jumping into the truck I stretch out as much as I can. Everyone else gets into their on assigned truck and head out. I close my eyes and let my mind wonder back to a happier time in my life. A time when I could really smile. "I'm afraid you'll be angry with me when I tell you." She whispered. "My love there is nothing you can say to make me hate you. I love no matter what you say." I hold her tightly to me afraid she would disappear. She looks up at me with those hazel eyes sparkling with tears running down her face. She searched my face for any lie. She was able to tell I was speaking from my heart. Next thing I know she is smashing her lips to mine. I groan with the intensity of the kiss. My hands start to roam across her body, little whimpers encourage me on. "I love you." She whispered and then I blackout. When I woke up in the room with my mate not there, I wondered what had happened. All of a sudden I feel intense pain, my wolf informs me its my mate who is in pain. I ran downstairs to see my best friend Josh covered in blood. I was just about to ask what happened when the smell hit me. I look down to see my sweet mate on the floor covered in her own blood.

"What have you done?" I yell at him as I rush to pick up my mate. "I'm sorry." Josh whispered and ran off. That was the last time I saw him and it was also the last day I got to hold my mate in my arms. "Don't leave me, please don't leave me." I begged her. "I was never really yours." she barely whispered. To this day I don't understand what she meant by that. She was mine, she was my everything. My sweet Angelica was a wolf, the younger sister to the Alpha Luna Abigail of Eclipse pack. When I met Angelica she was the ruler, their queen, of the territory that I now rule. To this day I can't understand why Alpha Abigail let her sisters murder live in her pack. I have wondered if Alpha Abigail was happy that her sister was dead. She was never happy about the two of us deciding to mate. We were chosen mates not fated mates and there was those, like Alpha Abigail, who thought it wrong.

So lost in my own thoughts I hadn't realized that we had finished our travel to the other side of the mountain. We had been traveling in Eclipse land for at least two hours. We should be arriving to the pack house soon. As soon as the thought passed the truck comes to a stop. I started talking a couple of deep breaths. I can do this, I have to find out why they protect Josh, even knowing what he did. Seeing the Alpha of the Eclipse pack waiting for us to step out, I take one last deap breath as Kyle opens the door.

As soon as he opened the door the smell of moon flowers overwhelmed my senses. I need to find her, is all I thought and with that thought I flashed. Standing in front of me is a child with gold eyes, I'm confused on who the kid is. As a pair of arms raps around her I go take a step to her grab her as an invisible force throws me back and pins me down. The male who had grabbed her turned her around and all I could think about was she's mine. I'm seeing red, an anger I haven't felt in a very long time takes over me. Breaking the hold on me I charge at the child in the mans arms. Ripping her from him, apart of my mind registers I am holding her to tight. "Let her go, now." Another male says standing to the right by the one who had touched my mate. A deep growl leaves me, I won't let them have her. With that thought I mark her, as soon as her blood hits my tongue a deep hunger takes over me. I'm fighting with myself, trying to stop from bleeding her dry. All of a sudden I'm thrown, smashing through two trees before crashing into the third tree. Dazed I noticed three people pin me down. I can feel the power of the alpha and her mate. Being a royal of the fae he was always known for being calm but when he became angry. Well let's just say you better hope it's not you he is angry with.

The alpha luna was pissed but so was I. She and her mate where yelling at me but all I cared about was that they where keeping her from me. I kept growling trying to get out of their hold on me. Alpha Abigail looked at me as if she where trying to figure out the best way to kill me. "Hey Wildflower, how are you holding up back there?" I froze at the sound of a voice I know all to well. Everyone had turned their heads to look at the little girl crouched on the ground holding her neck. Even covered with blood I could tell she was beautiful. She's so young was my thoughts when she jumped to her feet. I don't know how but she is standing above me the next second. Her being so close my mind went frantic at the closeness. The smell of her blood calling to me as she grabs my shirt. I was happy, excited even to have found my mate. The first punch took me by surprise, I hadn't had time to figure out what was going on until the second punch. I could hear her yelling at me after each punch. A part of me was proud my mate could handle. The other part of me was mad that I had hurt my mate so badly. After a crunching sound from my face, she dropped me. I could hear a beautiful voice speak, but do to the ringing in my ears. I couldn't understand what was being said. I caught the end of the conversation of the triplets asking about her. Growl rips from my chest at the thought of someone trying to take her. Standing up I take a step towards her as she disappeared into thin air. "Did she just flash?", a girl asked at the edge of the woods. "Yes and no it's complicated. You must be Olivia Burns." "You let a rouge in!" I'm angry how dare their put my mate in harms way. "I would be careful if I was you. That woman you were just attacking invited this rouge. When our little Wildflower is feeling better in a few hours, she'll really beat you up. I can't wait to see what she does to you when she finds out you just marked her." Josh said with a twisted evil smile.
