Roots uprooted from the soil and trapped Amaya, locking her legs in one place, and it didn't take up to a minute before they caught up with her and surrounded her.
The purple-bodied one, named Laki, walked up to her and lifting her chin with his claws, he asked,
"What's your name, little girl?" but Amaya ignored him, trying to break free from the roots, but it was a fruitless effort.
"Don't try, it's futile, and I won't ask again. What's your name," Laki warned.
"What's it to you?" Amaya asked back, refusing to yield.
"Ha!. She's so funny," Laki said while laughing, and the others followed, but then he stopped, and the others followed immediately, then he clenched his fist.
"Ahhh…" Amaya screamed as the roots around her legs tightened.
"It's been so long since I tasted a human, not to mention a girl", Saki, Laki's brother said.
"Kill her already. Why the waste of time?" Korryl urged, already impatient, so far it has been more than a thousand years since they were trapped. Now that he's finally free, he can't hold on any much longer. He has to eat. The same could be said for Saki, only Laki had that much patience.
"It's been so long, I have to play a little don't you think" Laki asked the others.
"F**k you and your little games am starving" Korryl said as he swung his middle arm on the left side. A rush of wind surrounded Amaya in what could be considered an instant. She could feel the terror coming from the attack. It was as if the grim reaper came for a visit, she could feel it.
Death
Never in her entire life did she ever think that she would die this way, in her dreams, about to be eaten by demons.
This could all be considered a nightmare or is it?
She asked herself, before blacking out, and almost immediately her hair grew longer, changing into golden with a touch of sea blue at the tip and with that came with a burst of energy blowing away the demons to a distance and at the same time breaking the roots off.
With a snap of her fingers, the environment changed, as the once barren land started having a touch of green as grasses and fruitful trees started growing. Her dress changed into a floral one as grasses and flowers inter-weaved to create a flowing gown with a floral crown on her head.
Her eyes opened, showing a bright amber color, and this time it was the demons turn to be terrified.
"You wanna play, my pleasure. I have only one warning for you. Run". She said, her voice echoing throughout the mountains.
And they didn't even think twice before they ran. This feeling they've felt it before, back when they were first trapped.
"How come this b***h suddenly became powerful" Korryl asked scared to the bones
"Is anyone thinking what i'm thinking" Saki asked
"It's not possible his highness eliminated her, that's the reason he's trapped in the first place" Laki said refusing Saki's claim.
"It might be true you'll never know" Saki warned
"f**k that" Laki cursed out as he increased his speed, but then...
