BLAST FROM THE PAST.

“I knew this was a set up!” Ro had mind linked me in the middle of the fight. We had been at war with a species that had been stalking our pack for lil girls,they were kidnapping children and performing unspeakable things to them. There were rumors about what they were doing but the confirmation was when it had hit home and one of our house chief 8 daughters had came up missing in the mist of the night and gone with our a trace. The only reason we knew where and when to catch up with the monstrous beast was because our fellow Soldier who would get Premonition of events . I replied back to ro through our mind link “There’s no retreating we already showed our location and they now know our location , we have killed most of them,let’s finish and get the rest of the children” ro replied “yes sir we have 3 more to get” Sam had interrupted the mind link “we have 2 left we just found another one she was hiding in a tree in shock she can’t talk “ the monsters where living in a mountain where the air is thin and we can barely breath there are even underwater caves where they live . As ro and I fought back to back to keep the 8 ft beast from overpowering us , “we can’t let up !” I exclaimed to ro .if we let up even for one moment our hearts would be gone in a second these beast had no emotion no regret about what they where doing. We finally kills the last 4 beast . Sam had gotten injured his heart had been nearly ripped out and he was losing blood he wasn’t healing even a little bit, he dropped to his knees I commanded another soldier to get him out to the medics he tried to argue but blood just poured from his empty attempt. Ro and I continue ahead with 6 other well trained wolves that had been fighting by our side throughout the battle . We had approached a beast that was 2x larger than the ones we had been fighting so I assumed this had to be there alpha.. he sat in one spot with claws as long as our arms and eyes blacked out he had no movement we had killed his whole pack but he showed no emotion. As everyone marveled at his appearance I began looking for his weak spot and instantly spotted it ,I realized everyone we killed we had hit them in the head . I mind linked everyone and let them know “his weak spots on his head, that’s our goal but I need all you guys home safe Sam is already injured I don’t need anymore casualties” ro replied “ I smell the 2 girls I hear one screaming “ my heart dropped when I realized he said one. One of the soldiers pounced and the beast flashed in movement, he had not only ripped his heart out but before we knew it had half his body in his mouth. Stunned I was stuck how? How would I kill the beast and how would we escape if we couldn’t kill it. Ro mind linked me and I could hear the pain and fear in his voice “ ddd-did you see that al” I cut him off “yes” I suddenly remember a play we had came up with that we would have to use in overbearing situations like this in football. I mind-linked everyone the play and it begin. I ran straight for the beast as he devoured our member realizing not only was it blind, it couldn’t move fast enough for us while eating, with all of us running towards him he couldn’t distinguish where we were Ro jumped from my back up to his head while I aimed for his neck Ro sliced his head in half , I felt a sting in my chest.the beast collapse.and when I tried to step back I couldn’t move, I began blacking out. The last thing I heard was Ro screaming at me “ please Noooo” we had succeeded in killing the beast but we lost our alpha.
