Aubrey’s POV
Of course I can’t get in to see my gynecologist for a couple of weeks. Apparently Dr. Melody Graham was on vacation. Someplace tropical, I’m guessing from the tan she has when I finally get in to see her at 9:30 am on the Monday after she just got back.
“It says here that you’re having issues with your birth control?” She asks me as she looks over the health questionnaire I had filled out. “According to my records you have been using an IUD for almost six years now. Have you been having issues with the replacement IUD, or did you switch to some other form of birth control when it expired?”
“Replacement IUD?” I ask, confused. “Expired? What are you talking about?”
“The particular brand of IUD you got six years ago usually lasts for up to five years,” Dr. Graham inform
