Greyson’s POV
I’m not happy about how things ended between Aubrey and I, but nothing I said seemed to make any difference. I can’t force her to stay my girlfriend, after all, even if I actually had the time to devote to the sort of relationship she deserves.
I go get my car from the basement level parking garage, and drive out onto the road just as I usually do. But then I spot Aubrey coming out of the front entrance and getting into a taxi. My car naturally ends up behind her cab at the next light.
I’m suddenly curious as to her behavior earlier. She had claimed that she loved me. So why didn’t she seem all that upset about the breakup? Has she been seeing someone else since I’ve been living with my dad? Is she going to that guys place right now?
