17 I didn’t like the idea of confronting Ilsa again, but I wanted to truly rule her out before I took further action. I was more on edge now than I’d been at any point during the investigation, and I hated the feeling of paranoia. Being a witch living in the mundane realm meant there wasn’t much that fazed me, so when something did, I felt rattled. I didn’t think Ilsa would hurt me, but what if she was the killer, and by closing in, I put her in a desperate position? Would she attack me?
