Chapter 69 ERIC’S DECAPITATED but upright body sagged to its knees, then fell towards the street, neck still steaming from Wormface’s acid tentacle. I glimpsed white bone and hollow cartilage through pulsing blood. I froze, balanced on the pickup’s bed, ignoring the reeking flamethrower gel burning into the brick wall only a few feet away.
