The next day news came to the center of the tribe about the invasion. Unfortunately, it was too late, over half of the tribe had already been lost and when some tried to rally a resistance, they discovered that almost all influential people of the tribe had been assassinated. While this was good for them since they did not have to face the ruthlessness of foreigners, they also couldn't get the boon of deterrence the foreigners gave.
