They didn’t have to wait long, soon the carriage stopped as the riders settled to rest.
“I don’t understand why they rest so much when they are riding” Shane whispered.
“Can you blame them? They have never seen war” Calina answered as she produced the bottle she mixed up back at Snow Jade tribe.
“Well, we haven’t really seen war either”
“Shut up Shane, you talk too much. I have seen war and if the Agency trained you a little more, maybe you would have” Calina got irritated. Her extensive training included all kinds of simulations and war was commonplace among them, the simulation training room back at the base was large enough for such simulations. Unfortunately, Shane wasn’t qualified to enter the training room yet, so it was difficult to work with him with his inexperience.
