“What is it?” Venessa asked puzzled.
“You can no longer wear this for as long as I am alive even if it is just for the next few minutes” Euodia skeptically rained her eyes down Venessa.
“I already told you, you wouldn’t die. Why do you fear so much?” Venessa grumbled but she obliged.
Outside the cave, Euodia was in constant awe at Venessa’s survival instincts. So far, they had no encounter where they needed to fight despite the numerous close calls.
“We should find a place to sleep. We wouldn’t have come out at this time if that cave didn’t open only at night” Euodia whispered.
Venessa nodded at her and they found a hollow tree with enough room for both of them to lie. Although the space was tight it was better than sleeping in the open.
