EPILOGUE

“There is nothing more beautiful than seeing my gorgeous wife with a little round belly,” Logan tells me against my neck as he wraps his arms around my ginormous waist and holds me to his chest. “Is she kicking today?”
“Never stops.” I chuckle, placing my hand over his as he rubs my stomach.
“She’s anxious, too,” he says, trying to calm my nerves, knowing how nervous I am. How nervous we both are.
“I can’t believe the day is finally here,” I tell him as we stand in the middle of the baby’s nursery, waiting for her arrival. “And that it took so long.”
“Whatever they tell us, just remember I’m here for you and love you.”
I pull him tighter against me and close my eyes as I feel his lips press against my temple. “I know. Thank you.”
