Caden led Bri and me to the house Xavier was talking about, a mansion far too big for two people, and far too close to where Xavier lived. It was right beside his house, and the first thing I noticed about it was the number of windows it had. Usually I would like a space so open, but all I could think of was how easy it would be to break in, especially for a werewolf. Xavier could come and go anytime he liked, and the thought unnerved me more than I even wanted to admit. I... I didn't think he wanted to hurt me--if he did, he could have already.
