Dr. Griffin inserted his fingers in the pocket of his coat. As he glanced back at the tunnel, reassuring himself that the four were the last to leave the tunnel and no one else would be able to see him with them. He only needed a plausible excuse to get rid of the two, and to assure the three of them a safe escape from watchful eyes and the place. The timing was incredible; thus, following what Dr. Griffin had wanted as a scenario, the only downside was that he wasn’t able to finalize clearly the plan on how they could escape.
