Episode 6: mastermind

Miya's eyes locked onto the mastermind, her expression a mix of anger and curiosity. "What do you want?" she spat, her voice firm.

The mastermind chuckled, a cold, calculating sound. "I may be a part of this organization, but I know I'm just a pawn. You guys are the ones playing the game. But I lead more than you guys think."

Miya's confusion was palpable. What was he talking about? Before she could respond, she let out a sharp whistle, a signal to her team.

Chaos erupted as Jack and the others burst into the room, taking down the organization's men with precision and ease. Miya's gang was in control now, and they weren't letting anyone escape.

As they subdued the mastermind, he sneered at Miya. "I'm not the one you want," he said, his voice dripping with defiance. "I'm just a puppet. The real mastermind is still out there."

Before he could say more, a gunshot rang out, and the mastermind's head snapped back. Miya's eyes widened as she saw Vanessa standing outside, a gun still smoking in her hand.

"Veni?" Miya breathed, her mind reeling. "You're alive?"

Vanessa smiled, a quick, tight smile. "Had to make it look good, Mia. I was never really caught."

Miya's eyes narrowed, her mind racing. Something didn't add up. If the mastermind wasn't the real mastermind, why had Vanessa shot him?

As she looked at Vanessa, she saw something flicker in her eyes, something that made her heart skip a beat. Miya's instincts were screaming at her, telling her that something was off.

The team was celebrating, thinking they'd taken down the organization, but Miya knew better. They were just getting started, and the real battle was only just beginning. 😎
