One month later.
It’s been a month since my mood changed and everywhere and everything got quiet. It’s been a month since Scarlett left. I know, we were not even a couple or even close. We were not even all that close but it just felt strange without her. I did love her but I think this was mostly attributed to the fact that I’d gotten used to having her around and being gone for a month seemed like a very long time. But yet again it was just a month.
After we got in that night she left, Hakeem had asked me how I felt as Scarlett was no longer here and that she was going to get married to someone else. I still don’t know the answer to that question. All I could do was hope that things were going to work themselves out. I had barely heard from Scarlett since she left
