The phone call laid heavy on my mind, the last person I wanted to speak was my mother, we were never close and after my father’s death, our rift only grew deeper. I was oversees at University when he died, when I came back the pack was chaotic, my mother had declared herself as ruler and had made some decision in my absence which had dire consequences in the pack and I had to banish my own mother, since then I kept track of her but I never spoke to her again, I get my accountant to phone her and the call doesn’t last more than a minute.
