Harper’s POV:
Finding the cave and what was in it was important for the packs and to Leo, so I wanted to help, if we could find the amulet, our packs could be saved, but that changed nothing between me and Leo, I was still focused on removing the mark.
I packed us some lunch and took a few sodas from the fridge, I wasn’t sure how long we would be gone, but I wanted to be prepared.
I heard the knock at the door and ran to open it, “Morning Dax”
He smiled at me, but I saw the shadow cross his eyes before he could hide it. He looked at the lunch and soda’s and then back at me “You going somewhere”
“Yes, I am going with Leo, to his pack”
His smile faded and I saw the hatred on his face “So you decided to forgive the asshole”
