I followed Luke with my eyes as he walked to the circle “How long”.
“How long what?”
“You know what I am asking, how long have you been working with her?”
“Since I became beta, no I’m lying before that, I don’t exactly know when”
“You were working already for her when my father was Alpha!”
“Yes, I really had no choice Leo”
Drake gave an involuntary growl.
“You always had a choice Luke”
“No, you don’t understand I love her, I have always loved her, even before I became Beta, before everything, I loved her”
“So everything that has happened with the pack you had a hand in it?”
