The cabin came into view, I mind-linked to Joshua and he signalled down the line to Wolf and Cole.
I could smell Harper’s distinctive scent, coming from inside, but something was wrong, she smelled off, I could feel anger threatening to spill over, I tried to mind-link with her, I got nothing, just blackness, it was as if she wasn’t here anymore. I started to transform when Emma grabbed my arm. “Calm down, you can’t go rushing into the unknown”
