~Vivian~ I couldn't sleep. The house was quiet. Too quiet. Every small sound made me jump. I stared at the ceiling of my new bedroom and tried to calm my racing thoughts. But every time I closed my eyes, I saw Nathan's messages. I shivered and pulled the blankets tighter around me. It was almost 2 a.m. The guys had gone to their separate rooms hours ago. Damien had insisted they all stay the first night. Just in case. And I hadn't argued. But now I was alone with my thoughts and they were eating me alive. I threw off the covers and got out of bed. I was wearing a thin silk nightgown that barely reached my thighs. I should have grabbed a robe but I didn't care. I just needed to move. I padded downstairs on bare feet. The house was dark but moonlight streamed through the large windows.
