“I told them I needed to think about it,” I mumbled. Tasha groaned again, louder this time, and threw herself back against the couch. “Think about it? Seriously? What is there to think about?” “It’s a big decision!” I said defensively. “No, it’s not,” she shot back. “You’re just being stubborn. You’re acting like a damn kid.” “I am not!” “Yes, you are,” she said, narrowing her eyes at me. “And if you’re not going to make the decision, then I will.” Before I could process her words, she grabbed my phone from the table. “What are you doing?” I asked, my heart skipping a beat. “Fixing your life,” she said, grinning mischievously as her fingers flew across the screen. “Tasha, no! Give me that!” I lunged for her, but she jumped off the couch and darted across the room
