“I’m waiting for the next thing I’ll get to eat you up like my favorite meal again.”
I gasped as I read the message from Nico, and instinctively glanced behind me to be sure that there was no one hiding behind me to read it as well. At this rate, I won’t be able to hide their identities for long.
“Come up to bed, Vivian,” I heard Nathan call from upstairs.
Sighing, I walked up the stairs and into our room, faked a smile at him and crept into the bathroom. I hadn’t recovered from Nico’s text, so going back to lie beside Nathan wasn’t the best thing to do right now.
I swiped up and did the only thing I could think of doing at the time. My finger hurt from pressing the block button so hard.
