MIRABEL POV. The moment I heard the nurse was awake, I rushed to the hospital wing. My heart pounded against my ribs as I pushed through the doors, my mind swirling with unanswered questions. Who was she? Why had she helped me? And most importantly—what did she know about the masked man?
