“I am going to go look for her. You guys should stay behind,” I said, but Owen and Noah shook their heads.
“She is our mate too, and something is really wrong with her, so we are coming too,” Noah said.
But I did not want them to come along. After the moment when I found out that Mirabel was a hybrid, I started researching more about them and realized all the symptoms they could go through. I knew the longer Mirabel stayed put, the more she risked exposing herself, so I had to find a way to help her without involving my siblings. I did not want to risk exposing her secret before she was ready to tell them.
