We found this old abandoned cabin in the woods to hide from the snowstorm that had started outside. Damian spotted some dried wood stacked in a corner and got to work on the fireplace. “You alright?” Damian asked as he draped his jacket over my shoulders. Sweet, but entirely unhelpful. My body was already shaking like a leaf in a windstorm, and the heat in my chest wasn’t from the fireplace, it was from something way worse. I could feel it creeping in the darkness, the hysteria.
